Digital Challenge was successfully held on Saturday 27th of May in the Mathematical grammar school in Belgrade.
This year, Pupin’s Challenge started earlier, with the first stage of this year’s season – the Digital Challenge.
This, the first in a row, final of the Digital Challenge was successfully held. We should thank the Mathematical grammar school for the venue, which has excellent conditions for the realisation of such an event.
Before this final, we held one workshop, and you can read all about it here. We established contact with new schools in the region and held public classes and visits to schools to promote the competition and prepare for the main part of the season that starts in September. Also, students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, who attended the prestigious HackTM in Timisoara as part of their preparations, also participated.
The competition was attended by the main workshop facilitator Jovan Popović, an associate of the regional talent center “Mihajlo Pupin” from Pančevo. As members of the jury and co-facilitators, there were Milan Surla in front of the Talent Center, Jovica Milisavljević in front of the Mathematical grammar school and Vladislav Petković representing the organizers and coordinators of the competition, the Federation of Circulating Associations.
For the finals of the Digital Challenge, we applied the evaluation methodology that we started using from the last finals of the cycle, and which we continue to improve and develop. In the final, it proved to be quite adequate and additionally strengthened to bust competitive spirit. The organizers believe that for the finals of this year’s season, they will have a great tool in the development of the competition and the overall Pupinov Izazov project.
