Cirkuliranje and Fabrika Fotografa visit Timisoara, the European Capital of Culture for 2023.
A couple of weeks before the end of the year, Cirkuliranje together with Fabrika Fotografa have preliminarily announced the start of year 2023 and the upcoming events in Timisoara with a photo exhibition. We are honored to be a pre-premiere event and at the same time to announce Timisoara – European Capital of Culture for 2023.
Ceremonial opening of the exhibition
Together we have opened an exhibition of photographs by the participants of Fabrika Fotografa in Timisoara on December 15, 2022, under the name “Made in the Fabrika Fotografa 9”. This exhibition has a special significance for Fabrika Fotografa, which celebrates 9 years of work and existence with this annual exhibition. With this event, we continue our close cooperation with the Timiş County Council.
Ruxandra Adam, Head of the office for Tourism Development and Culture of the Timiş County Council, announced this exhibition at the opening ceremony as a pre-premiere event on the occasion of a series of events that the city of Timișoara will organize during 2023, during which it will bear the title of European Capital of Culture.

We were warmly welcomed and a good atmosphere followed all the activities we had, setting a positive template which will bring people in the region closer together in every sense.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until December 23, 2022, and the location where it is set up is in the Multifunctional Center in the Bastion of Maria Theresia in Timisoara. Also, at the opening, it was announced that this event ends the era of exhibitions and cultural events held in this space. Starting next year, a new, more modern space will be opened, where numerous cultural manifestations will be held. This makes us especially happy because we are planning to be a part of those events.
