Young talents marked 🇪🇺 Erasmus Days by presenting Erasmus+ projects and the results of the Digital Challenge, a program bringing new approaches to learning and collaboration at the Mathematical Grammar School.
As part of the 🇪🇺 Erasmus Week, the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade hosted a celebration on October 17, 2025, starting at 🕚 11 AM, presenting Erasmus+ projects and student innovations from the Applied Physics and Electronics Club.
The event was opened by Principal Mirjana Katić, who proudly highlighted the achievements of students and teachers, emphasizing that such gatherings prove how schools can become places where knowledge, creativity, and teamwork unite into a true force for the future. 💜
🏫 Collaboration Among Schools and Partners
The event gathered students and teachers from 🏛️ First Belgrade Grammar School, 🏛️ First Kragujevac Grammar School, ⚡️ ETŠ “Nikola Tesla” Belgrade, ⚡️ ETŠ “Nikola Tesla” Pančevo, and 🧩 the Regional Talent Center “Mihajlo Pupin” Pančevo.
Particularly noteworthy was the participation of students from Kragujevac, who presented their projects and exchanged experiences with their peers.
Among the guests were representatives of the 🇷🇸 Ministry of Education, 🌟 Tempus Foundation, and the Center for the Promotion of Science, giving additional institutional support and significance to the event.

🌿 Erasmus+ Projects of the Mathematical Grammar School
🎓 Tamara Đorić Šparović, geography teacher and coordinator of the Sustainable Development Section 🌳🌎, presented three Erasmus+ projects involving the Mathematical Grammar School, including the 🪴 Smart School Garden.
🔭 Physics teacher Jovica Milisavljević also showcased an application developed within the Rural Tourism project, as an example of interdisciplinary learning and innovation in practice.
💡 Digital Challenge – Shared Vision and Achievements
💬 Vladislav Petković from Cirkuliranje presented the goals and vision of the Digital Challenge project, thanking the Romanian partners who followed the event online and emphasizing the importance of connecting formal and non-formal education, practical learning, and the development of young mentors.
During the three-hour workshop (🕚 11–14h), students presented their projects, sharing ideas and showcasing how collaboration and creativity can transform learning into real experiences.
An increasing number of girls and younger students are joining project activities, reinforcing the idea of developing digital and research skills from an early age.
🧑🏫 Young Mentors – The Driving Force of the Future
One of the key aspects of the project is the development of young mentors, ensuring continuity of extracurricular sections within schools and opening opportunities for new competitions and professional growth for both students and teachers.
The work of these young mentors is progressing through structured phases, which will culminate in a final hackathon next year at the Mathematical Grammar School, representing the pinnacle of the Digital Challenge project.
🚀 Next Steps and Project Importance
New implementation steps have been agreed upon, set to begin soon, marking a major milestone in the project’s development and expansion.
Participants concluded that Digital Challenge is on the right path, representing a missing link in modern education that connects knowledge, practice, and innovation.
👉 At this stage, the project has already achieved results that bring it close to its overall Erasmus+ goals.
In the coming months, the team plans to further enhance the process and, by the end of the year, publicly present new results — proving that this educational model generates lasting and meaningful change.
