Pupin’s Web3 Challenge Enters Grand Finale. We Proudly Announce the Grand Finale of the Pupin’s WEB3 Challenge – Web3 Hackathon 2025 Begins!
It is with great pride and excitement that we announce the culmination of the Pupin’s WEB3 Challenge project, brought to life through collaborations with renowned partners and now entering its final stage through the Web3 Hackathon 2025 event.
The Hackathon is organized by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, with the association Cirkuliranje as a key organizing partner, aiming to promote innovative WEB3 culture and bring together regional and international actors. As part of this collaboration, BuidlGuidl and ETH Belgrade have joined the project as strategic partners.
This final phase has already exceeded initial expectations – both in the scale and quality of participating teams, and in the impact the project is making on the development of decentralized technologies in the region, especially by engaging academic communities in the field of Web3 innovation.
📅 Key Dates – Web3 Hackathon 2025:
- May 14 at 5 PM (CET, online): Official Opening of the Web3 Hackathon
- May 21: Completion of the Blockchain Bootcamp
- May 21–28: Intense mentorship and solution development phase
- May 30: Grand Finale – Project Presentations at FON (with online participation option)
📌 Applications for Blockchain Bootcamp are open until May 12, 2025.
Participants seeking additional preparation are invited to apply for the Blockchain Bootcamp 2025, where they will gain hands-on experience with Solidity and smart contract development. Prior knowledge of Web3 (e.g., Solidity, NFTs) is recommended but not mandatory. The application form will remain open until May 12, 2025.

🌍 Who can join?
Web3 Hackathon 2025 is open to high school students, undergraduates, master’s, specialist, and PhD students from Serbia, the region, and around the world. Participants are free to use any blockchain technology they prefer – they are not limited to those covered within the Bootcamp.
This project contributes to the creation of a decentralized knowledge base, the development of emerging talent, and the strengthening of regional cooperation among universities and academic communities. We are proud to be building the foundations of a new Web3 ecosystem – together.
